On Tuesday 13 October 2026 at 7.30pm in Orkney Research and Innovation Campus (ORIC), Stromness.
The HMS Royal Oak has lain on the seabed of Scapa Flow for 87 years. On 14 October 1939 she was struck by four torpedoes fired by the submarine U47, with the loss of 835 Officers, men and boys. The volunteer team from Scapa 100 initiative has just finished their 2025-2026 survey of the wreck. Join us for an evening to hear their findings.
