Class: Bivalvia. 5 specimen. 3 lower (right) valves and 2 upper (left) valves. The largest upper and lower valve appear to have once been connected. Can be very large, fan shaped and with equal ears. The lower valve is convex while the upper is flat. They range in colour from white, to yellows, pinks, purples and reds. Very well defined and strong radiating ribs. Usually found in shallow depressions in the sea bed, prefers clean firm sands and silts.
