Class: Bivalvia. Not in a box, loose in drawer 8. 1 specimen. Both hinges still connected. Sub-circular, very thick and robust with very well defined concentric ribs. The internal surface is white and glossy with clear biological markers and the outer surface is white or off-white and matte. Lives in muddy substrates and can be found across the continental shelf.
