Zoology
Class: Bivalvia. 4 specimens. 2 still have both valves connected at the hinge. 1 left and 1 right individual valve, but do not appear to be from the same animal. Broadly triangular in shape, fairly small and off white in colour. This shell has very well defined concentric ribs as well as distinctive patterning. There is almost a peachy pink coloured concentric zigzag pattern broken up by think light bands radiating from the umbo. Can be found in clean or muddy sands up to a depth of 55m from the low water mark.
