Class: Bivalvia. 18 specimens. 16 have both valves still connected by the hinge. There is 1 individual right valve and 1 individual left valve which appear to have come from different animals due to size and colouration. An elongated oval in shape the umbo is appears at the halfway point. The outside surface has concentric curving striae while the inside surface is glossy. Ranges in colour from off-white, cream to pinks. Can be found offshore to 60m in course sand and gravel.
