Class: Bivalvia. 8 individual bivalve sides. 1 specimen with both sides still attached by hinge as well as 4 unconnected right sides, 3 unconnected left sides. Rounded but rectangular in shape from above, white and off white in colour with distinct horizontal ridges. Can be found on the lower shores attached to algae holdfasts but also bores into softer rock types. Currently stored in the same box as Hiatella arctica.
