Class: Gastropoda. 5 specimens. Off white and pale grey, conical but rounded, especially around the base whorl. When alive the shell has a lilac tinge to it, hence it's name. It also normally has well defined ridges but these examples are very worn. Can be found around seaweeds and in sandy gravel and is mostly a west coast species.
