Dress sword salvaged from the German Fleet. The blade shows signs of wear but the hilt is in good condition. Very ornate, brass with ivory inlay. The top has a lions head which has its tail gripped in its mouth, thus forming a loop for the hand. The main cascades down from the lions head and turns into foliage to run down the handle. The name "Dresden " is engraved at the hilt. One green coloured eye is intact, the other one is missing.
