Class: Bivalvia. 5 specimens. 4 specimens have both valves still attached at the hinge and 1 individual right valve. Oval in shape with a square posterior edge. Off white or pale pink in colour with an brown periostracum. The whole of the shell has visible but fine concentric striae but the posterior edge has a small number of well defined radiating ribs. Can be found from the lower shore down in sands or gravels.
