Class: Bivalvia. 23 specimens. 11 have both valves still attached, 7 left valves and 5 right valves. Very small, thin and semi translucent. Has both visible concentric growth lines and fine concentric striae. Varies in colours such as white, pink, yellow and orange. Burrows in clean sands and gravel in the low intertidal zone to the edge of the continental shelf.
