Class: Bivalvia. 3 specimens. All have both valves still connected at the hinge. Very irregular oval or fan shaped. Large, off white in colour with and orange tinge towards the umbo. The shells have very strong distinct radial ridges which have a narrow line of spines running along the midline of each ridge. Can be found in sand, fine gravels and silts on the continental shelf.
