Class: Bivalvia. 3 specimens. All have both their upper and lower valves present despite the lower valves being very fragile. 1 specimens has a large barnacle on its upper valve (Balanus crenatus). These individuals range in colour from off white to grey and have convex upper valves with almost flat lower valves which also have a sizable hole next to the hinge. Can be found on the lower shore attached to hard substrates, algae holdfasts as well as other molluscs.
