Class: Bivalvia. 1 specimen. Both valves attached by the hinge. Small, fan shaped and bright orange in colour. The anterior ear is generally significantly longer with a notch. It also has clear ridges radiating from the umbo. This species can range in colour and pattern. Can be found offshore at considerable depths on coarse, muddy sand, gravel or shell.
