Leather 'glove' which is work across the hand to protect the palm while working on hard material such as leather or sails. Brown faded leather with natural stitching. It has become dried out and ridgid. There is a hole in it to insert the thumb and the strap goes across the back of the hand. There is a small round raised pad with a metal 'thimble' inserted.
