Memorial card for Captain Robert Smith Dishon of Orkney, lost overboard from THORNDEAN, 18th Nov. 1872, in lat. 47 N., 36 W., aged 38 years. (Capt. Dishon was swept overboard in storm while attending to one of his crew on deck whose leg had been broken by a falling spar). Presented by his grand-daughter.
